I wanted to tell the story of how Dalia and I met. What I imagine is there's two grandmothers, Bubbe Pearl and Grandma Susie, and they live in the same apartment building. So I think they met maybe in the hallway to the elevator, and I think that's when they started to hatch a plan. So, another few months ahead, I was introduced to Dalia by a classmate and said, "Oh, you're Dalia. My Bubbe told me I needed to ask you out for coffee."
I've never thought of myself as a particularly lucky person, and I never understood why things just didn't seem to work out my way sometimes. I now know that I was saving all of my luck for the chance to be with you. All of my luck has been concentrated into this moment where I get to be your wife, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Nate, you are the love of my life, my best friend, the one who makes me laugh more than anyone, my shoulder to cry on, and the best dog dad to Harper and Finn.
