A letter to Stephanie and Sergio…

Dear Sergio, happy wedding day, babe. I can't wait to marry my best friend today. I can't wait to celebrate with you and to start our married life. I would like to congratulate my youngest brother on this amazing night. I wasn't fond of some choices that you've made in the past, from your ripped clothing to your fast cars, but I'm certainly supportive of the choice you made tonight. Stephanie, you are absolutely amazing and stunning, and we are so thrilled to have you and your two beautiful daughters joining our Pacheco family. We have enjoyed getting to know you and getting to know you together with the kids. Every weekend, my favorite time is around the table when we're all sitting, and eating, and sharing food and stories. I cherish those moments and know we're going to have many, many more. We just wanted to end with a little wish: may you always have a sunbeam to warm you, good luck to charm you, a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you, laughter to cheer you, faithful friends near you, and whenever you pray, heaven to hear you. We love you so much.

We are gathered here on this special day to celebrate with Stephanie and Sergio the wondrous and joyful occurrence that has already taken place in their lives: falling in love with one another and the commitment they make today to marry each other in front of all of you, their most cherished friends and family.

Without you I wouldn’t be the man I am today. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. You've motivated me to strive for more than I have ever thought possible and have inspired me to be a better version of myself. You've consistently set the bar so high. Thank you for always being my inspiration, my rock, and my best human. I'm excited to start our journey together, and I will always be by your side no matter what life brings us. I’ll always love you and protect you through thick and thin. You always bring out the best part of me and our little family.

I want to make a promise to you girls: no matter what life brings you, I want you to remember that I’ll always be there for you. From this day forward, I'll be your forever daddy and you'll be my forever daughters. I love you so much.

I promise to always bring out the best in you, to love you in moments that are exciting and joyous, and also in the hard times. To laugh with you in your joy and to comfort you in times of sorrow. I can't wait to build a happy life with you and our family, and I promise to always make our home safe, peaceful, and full of love that grows and grows, making life more magical than we could have ever imagined.

There are so many things that Steph does that are really incredible and impressive. Steph is always willing to pursue these big ideas and create a really beautiful life for her family. I'm glad that she has found someone who is equally determined to support her in building a life that you both dream of together. So I wish you both every happiness as you embark on this next adventure that you're going to create and dream up together in your marriage.

I know this much for sure: Steph will nurture, love, protect, and cherish her family with every ounce of her being. That's just the way she is, and her family could not be in better hands. She's such a kind and loving, generous, and giving girl. She's fun-loving, fun to be with, hardworking, dedicated, brave, and strong. Steph, I'm very, very proud of you.

To Sergio, you're my best friend and my love, and I'm really glad that we're here together today celebrating our marriage. You've blessed Juliana and Lily with having the father that they've always deserved—a father who deeply cares about them, laughs and plays with them, and guides them every day in love. I'll never be able to express what that means to me and means to them. You've given the three of us the greatest gift, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for our little family.
