Meaghan and Ryan's Words of Love in Holland Landing, Ontario

I would like to welcome you all here today as we finally get to celebrate with Ryan and Meaghan and support them as they make their promises to each other and profess the love that they share.

Love is patient and kind. It is not jealous or conceited or proud. Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable. Love does not keep a record of wrongs. Love never gives up, and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal.

To my bridesmaids, I want to thank you for sticking by me and supporting me. You constantly uplifted me, and you were positive and hopeful when I couldn't be. Thank you for being by my side on the most important day of my life.

My name is Cole, and I have the honour of being Ryan's best man, only because Meaghan wouldn't let me be his husband. Ryan and I have been best friends since we were young, eleven years old. From then on, Ryan and I were always together. We basically got adopted into each other's families. I love that I get to consider both Ryan and Meaghan two of my closest friends.

I have been so lucky to share some very special milestones with Meaghan. There are so many amazing things I have seen Meaghan accomplish, but one of the greatest things I have ever seen her do is fall in love with Ryan.

As the wedding day approached, I found myself reflecting on each chapter of our lives. As a boyfriend, Ryan, you were sweet and funny, always doing little things to put a smile on my face. As my fiancé, you've been supportive and encouraging, never failing to believe in me. As my husband, I know you will be loving and devoted, and I know one day, when our time comes, you will be the most amazing dad to our kids. I love you more than life itself, and I'm so happy to do life with you by my side.

“Meaghan, I will love you unconditionally and without hesitation. I vow to be understanding and compassionate when we don't see eye to eye. I promise to grow with you, to learn with you, and live out our days hand in hand. I promise to always be there. I promise to choose you every day, not because I have to, but because I want to.”

“I love you, Meaghan.”

“I love you, Ryan.”

So let’s all give a big warm welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Meaghan Price.

Meaghan and Ryan have taught me so much about love, and even though I am Ryan's older sister, I have always looked up to them as a couple. When I met Mark, I knew he was the one because he looked at me the same way that Ryan looks at Meaghan.

The thing that I love the most about you, Meaghan, is how caring you are. Everything Meaghan puts her mind into, she always pours her whole heart and soul into. I know that she'll make not only an amazing wife but an amazing mother, and I couldn't be luckier to have her in my life.

We’re so proud of you, and you’ve become an amazing man. You are going to be an amazing father and husband, and I could not have asked for a son like you.

It was pretty obvious early on that Meaghan and Ryan were two peas in a pod, so it comes as no surprise to me that after all these years, they are tying the knot.

It comes as a surprise to me. I told her she couldn't date until she was thirty-five.
