Shay and Garner have brought us together here for an occasion of great joy and a cause for great celebration.

For anyone who knows Shay, you know that she can be very hard on herself because she's constantly striving for perfection, and I often told her that perfection is unrealistic. But today, I do stand corrected because right now, you two have experienced the most perfect day.

For my bride on our wedding day, Shay bear, today our lives changed forever. Today, we become husband and wife, and it truly feels surreal. From high school sweethearts until now, I've always felt like I'm the luckiest man. Today, you've become not just my wife, but you've become my forever. Ten years ago, you wrote a hundred reasons why you loved me, and to this day, it's still the cutest thing you've ever done. I've returned the favour as it's only right, you read all the silly, dumb, fun, and stupid ways that I love you. I hope today is what you dreamt of when you were a little girl.

To my groom, I cannot believe the morning of our wedding is finally here. These past ten and a half years have been incredible. I'm so excited to start this next chapter with you. You're my best friend, my protector, and now about to be my husband. You mean everything to me, and I'm so happy and excited to become your wife, even though we both know I've acted like one for a number of years. Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of this day. I'm so grateful that I get to go through life with you forever. I promise I'll do everything I can to make our marriage the most beautiful journey with one another. No matter how good or bad times get, I promise you, stick by you and get through it. I can't wait to start this new chapter with you and one day watch you become the father of our bearded baby, love you so much. See you at the altar, your bride, Shay. Garner, you've made us very proud to be your parents. Your happy personality and attitude towards family, friends, and life draw people to you. You've filled our lives with love, laughs, and are a very strong, kind, smart young man that we all adore.

If it isn't your big brown eyes, long brown hair, or contagious smile, it's your thoughtfulness, compassion, and ability to put your loved ones first that makes me love who you are.
