Alex and Graham's Words of Love at Roseville Estate in Cambridge, Ontario

When Graham started to court Alex, you could tell change was in the air. It was the only one way to call her - the captivating woman.

Alex and Graham, love you both, wishing you health, love, happiness, old age, and it's a wonderful journey. Be kind, love one another every day, and you'll have an excellent recipe for success.

Alex, you demonstrated your strength and tenacity on many occasions. Your strength and courage have carried you through some tough times at a very young age and have made you who you are today. Dad would’ve been very proud of the person you are today. He always said, "Sweetie, learn to look after yourself," but he would be very pleased that you will now share your life as an equal partner with Graham. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.

Alex, it seems like just yesterday we were eating homemade wine ice cones and singing into Nona's vacuum cleaners, but here you are, sitting in front of me as a beautiful bride - a day we have always dreamed of. Alex was there on the day that I was born and has not left my side since. No matter what life has thrown at her, she has continued to push through and be the person sitting here in front of us today. I know that there are more than the people sitting here in this room today celebrating you every day, and that they are so beyond proud of you. We are so excited to see what this life has in store for the two of you, and we look forward to our memories to come. Let's raise our glasses to the new happy couple - cheers!

Alex, you'll always be my thin cup, my Ally McBeal, my Music Guru, one of the best drinking buddies I ever had. You are so loyal to your friends, you're loyal to your family, and for that, you'll always, always have my respect.

Indeed, this day is a day of hope, a day in which Graham and Alexandra demonstrate their commitment, devotion and mutual respect, as well as their faith and love in one another. From your new marriage, a relationship can come the nurture and strength you two need to face the world. Only from this moment on, you will face the world together in a new way.

I, Graham, choose you, Alexandra, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, to love and to cherish, and to be faithful to you alone. This is my solemn vow.

I, Alexandra, choose you, Graham, for better, for worse, in joy and sorrow, to love and to cherish, and to be faithful to you alone. This is my solemn vow.

Alexandra, I give you this ring that you may wear as a symbol of the vows that we have made this day.

Graham, I give you this ring. I pledge you my love and respect, my laughter and my tears. With all that I am, I honour you.

It is my honour and delight to declare you henceforth husband and wife. You may seal your vows with a kiss.

From the stupid neighborhood mischief that young boys seem to constantly get themselves into, the SOCOM and Call of Duty video game marathons, the first time we got our hands on some beers from our parents' fridges and headed to the nearby park to drink them as fast as we could - those times were very memorable and probably where I would say at some point we became best friends. You guys are absolutely meant for each other, and I wish you nothing but love and happiness for years to come. It's been a blast experiencing some of the best moments of our lives through the past twenty years together, so here's hoping we all get to share many more years to come.

To my mom, thank you so much for everything that you do for us. It doesn't go unnoticed. You are someone I look up to, someone I can always rely on, and someone who always tells it how it is.

To my mom, thank you for everything that you have done for me over the years - for all the late-night bar runs, making meals, doing my laundry, and the countless other things that you have done and always will continue to do for me and now Alex. It has not gone unnoticed, and I cannot thank you enough.

Marriage at times can be hard, and other times it can be really easy. It is important to remember that there are two people in this relationship with sometimes two different needs and wants. It's important to keep things even and fair and to have each other's best interests at heart always. Be open and honest with one another and support each other in whatever life throws your way.
