Sophia and Henry celebrated their wedding at the stunning venue Valley Croft, in Coldwater in July, 2021. What a gorgeous day they had! The birds were chirping, the wind was blowing gently and even the fishes gathered around to celebrate Sophia and Henry’s love. Their wedding day looked like it came straight out of a Disney movie!

Everything about their day was just so magical, everytime I watch their wedding film my heart is filled with love, my eyes with tears and my soul with peace! The barn was so perfectly decorated with lights, candles, beautiful flowers, everything looked so charming, cozy and warm, it felt like love itself was surrounding us. If you are thinking about getting married in a barn venue this is your sign to go for it!
Sophia and Henry decided to not have us film their getting ready, they preferred to have us arrive a few hours before the ceremony, so we could capture them spending some time together and enjoying each other’s company before the guests arrived! Because of that, their wedding was filmed by one videographer.
Many people ask me what are the differences between getting one or two videographers, the main difference I’d say is the getting ready part. When the bride and groom are getting ready in places far away from each other it is best to have two videographers, because one can cover the bride as the other one covers the groom, that is almost impossible to do when you have only one videographer, in that situation we would have to schedule the morning so the one shooter can capture the groom for about 30-40 minutes and then head over to film the bride.
There is no other word to better describe Sophia and Henry’s wedding other than magical! What is more romantic than dancing with the love of your life in the middle of a forest and having the trees swaying as you move back and forth? To me it felt like Sophia and Henry were in an enchanted forest and everything around them wanted to proclaim their love!
As they dance and stare at each other's eyes I can’t help but notice how comfortable they are in each other’s arms, it is like they have found their home, the place where they belong! Henry is the perfect gentleman, when I see him fixing Sophia’s bracelet I am reassured that he will always take care of her, protect her and meet all of her needs. Watching Sophia bottom Henry’s suit shows me that she will always be looking after him, that he doesn’t have to worry about anything because she will absolutely always have his back! Isn’t this what love is all about? Two people that put each other’s needs before their own and that do everything to make their better half happy!

After rehearsing what their future is going to look like it is time to get the ceremony started! Because Sophia and Henry’s families weren’t able to come to Canada for their wedding, they decided to not have a traditional Chinese wedding with the tea ceremony, they chose to have a small, intimate ceremony with their closest friends. The ceremony was outside on the beautiful porch by the barn, they had flowers everywhere and were surrounded by their loved ones.
Sophia walks down the aisle with her bouquet of flowers on her hands and a smile on her face. Henry couldn’t take his eyes off of her, he looks at her with such tenderness, it’s impossible not to see love in his eyes, he reaches for her and as they hold hands you can tell they don’t want to let go, they will hold each other near for the rest of their lives! The officiant continues the ceremony and no eye is left dry, Sophia sheds a tear and Henry promptly wipes it away, that was so sweet, it just warms up my heart!
The guests cheer as the bride and groom share their first kiss as a married couple! This is it, Sophia and Henry are officially husband and wife, let’s celebrate!!! They held their reception in the beautiful barn, surrounded by people they truly love and many many photos. Everyone had an amazing time celebrating the bride and groom! As the hours passed Sophia and Henry had their first dance, ate some good food, played games and were showered with so much love from their guests, their wedding day could not have been more perfect!
Sophia and Henry are very lucky to have found each other! I feel so happy when I see soulmates come together in holy matrimony, what a blessing it is to be part of something this special. As they hold hands and walk away I am reminded that their journey towards happily ever after has just begun and I know for a fact that they won’t stray from this path!
