At Parallel Weddings, a Toronto wedding videographer team, we had the pleasure of capturing Meaghan and Ryan’s special day on August 20th, 2022 - it was a beautiful celebration in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

The day began with Meaghan getting ready in Newmarket, where hair and makeup artists put the finishing touches on her look. A particularly sweet moment unfolded as she opened a heartfelt card and shared a first look with her parents and in-laws before leaving for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Ryan prepared at a separate location in Holland Landing.

Their ceremony took place at 4:00 PM at a Richmond Hill AirBnB venue. It was a heartfelt moment as they finally saw each other when Meaghan walked down the aisle. Their vows were deeply moving—Ryan promised, “I will love you unconditionally and without hesitation”, and “I promise to grow with you, to learn with you, and live out our days hand in hand”. Meaghan spoke of Ryan as her husband, saying, “I know you will be loving and devoted, and I know one day when our time comes, you will be the most amazing dad to our kids”.

After the ceremony, the talented team from Ema Wedding Co. joined us at the venue to capture stunning photographs while we filmed! The celebration continued at the same location with a cocktail hour at 4:30 PM, followed by their grand entrance at 6:00 PM to officially begin the reception. One particularly special moment of the evening was a generational dance, where the DJ invited all married couples onto the dance floor, gradually leaving one couple to offer words of wisdom to Meaghan and Ryan.

The night was filled with memorable speeches. The Maid of Honour shared, “I have been so lucky to share some very special milestones with Meaghan… but one of the greatest things I have ever seen her do is fall in love with Ryan”. Ryan’s best man, Cole, reflected on their friendship, saying, “Ryan and I were always together—we basically got adopted into each other’s families. I love that I get to consider both Ryan and Meaghan two of my closest friends”. The speeches and dances, including the first dance as husband and wife, as well as the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances, were all beautifully showcased in the Film. The evening wrapped up with a bouquet toss, which is always fun as we don’t see them as often anymore!

Working alongside Peaches 'n Cream Weddings helped ensure the day flowed seamlessly, allowing us to focus on capturing every special moment. The Parallel Weddings team included two videographers, Branden Murphy and Nadeem Oudeh, with Nadeem also handling the film editing process.

We are thrilled to provide Meaghan and Ryan with a wedding film they can cherish forever, allowing them to relive these precious moments. As one guest beautifully put it, “Meaghan and Ryan have taught me so much about love”—and that is exactly what we witnessed on their wedding day.

Thank you so much! Last night Ryan and I sat down and watched our wedding documentary for the first time since getting married. The video is so beautiful and the Parallel team did an incredible job. They exceeded all our expectations.

1st Anniversary Feedback: We had many laughs and tears reliving our day through that video. Choosing Parallel Wedding as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! It was amazing working with Branden as he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was very accommodating with our requests. One of the things I really loved about working with Parallel, even before they shot our big day, was how easy it was to communicate with them. Larissa was very responsive and put a lot of care into answering our questions. They also sent out raw clips a few weeks after the wedding so we had something to enjoy while waiting for the final video which we really appreciated. As for the final product, we could not be happier with how it turned out - there's something special about how Parallel tells each couple's story and ours truly felt like a dream come true.
