Stephanie and Sergio’s fall wedding on October 13th, 2023, was a beautiful blend of Portuguese and Italian family traditions, and we at Parallel Weddings had the privilege of capturing each heartfelt moment with our videography and photography services. The day started with Sergio at his family home, where his big brother helped him put on his jacket and tie, while his mom added the boutonniere. The camaraderie between Sergio and his groomsmen added warmth to the morning as they toasted with whiskey and shared laughs on the porch. These were moments we knew they’d want to relive, so we made sure every detail was documented.
Stephanie got ready at her family home in Mississauga surrounded by her closest friends and family. As Hair by Nikkimed and Jess Wolfert Beauty worked on her hair and makeup, we captured the atmosphere and anticipation that filled the room. Stephanie shared intimate moments with her bridesmaids and daughters, and she gifted each one of them with jewelry to wear for the day—thoughtful touches we made sure to capture so she could look back on these interactions for years to come.
After champagne toasts with her bridal party, it was time for Stephanie to step into her wedding dress with her mother’s help. Once she was all ready, she shared a touching first look with her dad, who was overjoyed to see his little girl as a bride. Her mom watched with pride from the corner, making it an incredibly moving moment to capture. Then came the second reveal with her bridesmaids and daughters, who were thrilled to see her in her wedding gown. Her daughters especially looked at their mom with admiration, as if she were a real-life princess.
The ceremony took place at Oakville Legacy Banquet Hall in Oakville, where Sergio’s emotions were clear as he watched Stephanie walk down the aisle. With family and friends gathered, they exchanged vows that highlighted their love and commitment. A particularly memorable moment was when Sergio made a heartfelt promise to Stephanie’s daughters, vowing to be their forever dad. It was a beautiful moment we were honoured to capture on film, preserving it so the family could treasure it always.

Following the ceremony, we traveled with the couple and their bridal party to Gairloch Gardens for their photoshoot. The beautiful greenery, vibrant flowers, and serene lake views provided a stunning backdrop for capturing the joy and love between Stephanie and Sergio. Branden and Nadeem, our videographer and photographer, were dedicated to getting every perfect shot, creating beautiful memories they’ll cherish forever.
Back at Oakville Legacy Banquet Hall, the celebration continued with an elegant cocktail hour. The venue’s banquet hall, was truly a dream—transformed by Nancy Elliott Floral Design with white flowers, gorgeous greenery, and soft candlelight that added a magical atmosphere. We documented every detail, from the stunning floral arrangements to the ambiance that made the space feel so welcoming and special.
As Stephanie and Sergio made their grand entrance, the reception came alive. They shared their first dance, followed by the father daughter dance and mother son dance, each moment filled with love and joy. The speeches were heartfelt, especially Stephanie’s, where she shared her deep love for Sergio. Guests also enjoyed sweet treats from Little Rose Cookie Co, Stephanie’s own business, which added a personal and delicious touch to the evening.
The night continued with a lively dance floor as friends and family celebrated the happy couple. We captured every smile, every laugh, and every dance, ensuring Stephanie and Sergio would have a complete, vivid memory of their wedding day. It was a privilege for us at Parallel Weddings to be part of their special day, capturing each precious detail through our videography and photography for Stephanie, Sergio, and their family to look back on for years to come.
