Lauren and Jonathan's Words of Love at Ancaster Mill in Ancaster, Ontario

Jonathan, over the last eleven years, we have grown up together, but what's most incredible is that we haven't grown apart. I've gotten the opportunity to watch you mature from a teenager into the man that you are today, and I am so, so proud of you.

Lauren, you are so intelligent, graceful, and you truly have a heart of gold. You're constantly considering the feelings of those around you and taking care of anyone that you cross paths with. Caring really is in Lauren's blood, which is probably why she began her career as a nurse, where she enhances the lives of those around her each and every day.

So, let's raise a glass to our dear Lauren and Jon. May you both love each other dearly through all of life's adventures. We love you both, and congratulations, cheers!

Lauren and Jonathan demonstrate not only their joy in the present but their commitment to share the future together. This is a time of celebration for all of you who know and love them.

Lauren, I promise to give you the best of myself and to ask you no more than you can give. I promise to share with you my time, my attention, and to bring joy, strength, and imagination to our relationship. I promise to love you in good times and bad, with all I have to give, all I feel inside, the only way I know how, completely and forever.

When I think of us and all the things that we bring to our relationship, I'm so incredibly thankful. I'm thankful that the nicest, sweetest, most wonderful person there could ever be is here beside me today. From this day forward, Jonathan, I promise to dream with you and to celebrate life's accomplishments together. I vow to keep fighting for us forever because I'm on your team.

I choose you to be my partner. I give you this ring as my gift to you. I promise from this day forward you shall not walk alone.

I now pronounce that they are husband and wife!

These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love, that hold yours on your wedding day. These are the hands that will work alongside yours as you build your future together. These are the hands that will passionately love you and care for you throughout the years. These are the hands that even when wrinkled with age, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.

Jonathan, where to begin? From the time you made your grand entrance into this world, weighing a whopping nine pounds, three ounces, you have brought so much joy into our lives. When I look at him today, I know I did something right. The little boy I knew has grown up into this wonderful and caring man that I could not be more proud to call my son.

Mom and Dad, your support, empathy, and encouragement throughout everything have made this day possible. The time and effort that you put in to ensure that I become a happy, healthy, and successful adult does not go unnoticed, and I will be forever grateful. Jonathan and I look up to you. I'm proud to call such kind, generous, and loving people my parents.

It's a special time to come together as a family to celebrate our blessings and to be thankful for everything and everyone in our lives.

It is so wonderful that everyone is gathered here today to be a part of Jon and Lauren's special day. Today is truly the ultimate Thanksgiving.
