Callie and Trevor celebrated their wedding at the stunning venue Gracewood Estates, in Niagara-on-the-lake in August, 2019. What a gorgeous day they had! The sky was blue, the sun was shining and the vineyards were as breathtaking as always - it was a perfect summer day! While Callie was home getting ready with her bridesmaids, Trevor was at Gracewood Estates with the groomsmen! That’s one advantage of having two videographers, one can cover the bride and the other can be with the groom.

We love capturing candid moments when the couple is getting ready, it’s so good to see the bride and groom interacting with their loved ones. They’re always laughing, sharing stories, helping each other get ready, and this time wasn’t different! Callie was popping champagne with her girls as Trevor was having fun with his buddies. Now is also the perfect time to get a close shot of the wedding dress, the rings and all the accessories and elements that make the weddings unique and personal.
Some couples decide to exchange letters on their wedding day and the best time to do that is during the getting ready part, because you can share about your expectations for the day, tell how much you mean to each other and the make-up artist is still there in case the bride gets some happy tears falling down her face and needs a touch up! You can see Trevor’s face lighting up as he reads about how much Callie loves him and how excited she is to be marrying him later that day!
Another very common thing to happen during the getting ready part is a gift exchange, Callie and Trevor decided to give gifts to their bridal party. Trevor gave his groomsmen this beautiful basket filled with goodies, including matching tie and socks and a bottle of rum. Meanwhile, Callie gave her bridesmaids gorgeous jewelry to be worn at the wedding as well as a mini champagne bottle. The bride and groom watched as their bridal party tried on their gifts and finished up getting ready!
Callie and Trevor are finally ready and now is time for one of my favourite parts of the day - the first look! Trevor stands at the beautiful laneway as he patiently waits for Callie to reveal herself to him. Callie comes slowly from behind in her stunning white dress, she can’t stop smiling, she gets closer and closer, she taps his shoulder - this is it, now is the moment we’ve been waiting for - he turns toward her and oh man, I can’t read minds, but I’m pretty sure he was wondering how lucky he is to be marrying Callie. They gaze at each other and all you can see is love!

After the first look is over it’s time to get the ceremony started. Callie and Trevor had a non-religious outdoor ceremony, right beside a vineyard at Kurtz Orchards! They had a gorgeous arched altar decorated with white and light pink roses and they also had flowers bordering the aisle. Now is time for the aisle walk, the bridal party walks in, I love all the colours and how everything matches. Everybody is in place waiting for the bride. Callie walks in and it’s all smiles, everybody can’t take their eyes off her, Trevor can’t hold in his excitement! The officiant starts his message, they say their vows and just like that they are now husband and wife! The whole crowd cheers.
Callie and Trevor are married, let’s celebrate! The bride and groom walk in the reception as the guests cheer them on. Callie and Trevor had their reception in a beautiful white tent, the whole place was covered in lights and they had lots of flowers and greens as their decoration, everything was just breathtaking!
The party starts and it’s time for the couple’s first dance. Callie and Trevor couldn’t have picked a more romantic way to do their first dance, they were surrounded by their loved ones dancing as the sun was setting and as the bridal party swayed their sparklers with them, what a magical moment! It was so beautiful that people couldn’t hold in their tears.
Dreamy first dance, check! Emotional, but at the same time funny speeches, check! Guests happy and full, check! Everything about Callie and Trevor’s wedding was a success so far, and the opening of the dance floor couldn’t be any different! Everybody was having such a good time and dancing the night away - you can see that by the lack of shoes on the women’s feet, that’s always a good sign when on a dance floor! The joy was so great and contagious that one bridesmaid spontaneously decided to perform a Dirty Dance move making everyone gasp and cheer. The guests continued dancing as Callie and Trevor walked toward their happily ever after!
