At Parallel Weddings, a Toronto-based wedding videography company, we had the privilege of capturing Stephanie and Joshua's beautiful wedding on June 17, 2023, at the stunning Valley Croft Event Centre in Coldwater, Ontario. It was a day full of love, laughter, and heartfelt moments, and we were thrilled to preserve it all on video.
The day began with Branden Murphy, our talented solo videographer, arriving at Joshua's family home in Phelpston to film the groom getting ready. Meanwhile, Stephanie prepared at the Valley Croft Cottage, looking radiant with hair styled by Allison McKee from Salon RX and makeup by Kaitie Dee Makeup Artistry.
After preparations, the couple shared a touching “First Look” at a nearby family farm near Settler's Ghost Golf followed by the photo/videoshoot. The photoshoot was beautifully captured by Amos Photography alongside our videography team.
The ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn of the Valley Croft Event Centre. We ensured every word was perfectly captured by patching into the sound system and placing a lavalier microphone on Joshua. The couple’s vows were truly moving. Stephanie promised, “I promise to be the most dependable person in your life, to be loyal and faithful to you, and to prioritize our relationship… and most importantly, I promise to never forget that this is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love.” Joshua’s vows were equally heartfelt: “Stephanie, your kindness, compassion, and support were the light that guided me through my life’s darkest struggles. You are my rock, my foundation, my shotgun rider, my dance partner, and my purpose. I promise to keep our home filled with laughter, love, safety, and protection. I promise to never stop dating you and trying to impress you, and lastly, I promise to never stop loving you.” The officiant, Diane Kane, guided the couple through their vows with words that perfectly encapsulated their love and commitment.

The reception began with a cocktail hour back at Valley Croft, where we captured candids before the main festivities. We ensured every speech was recorded, to preserve all the heartfelt words. Stephanie's father shared how his "precious little girl" had grown into a "beautiful, accomplished young woman" and expressed his joy in celebrating her on such a special day. A close friend of Stephanie remarked, "You’ve achieved everything you’ve wanted to this point, and I have absolutely no doubt you’ll continue to do so.” Joshua’s best man shared how Joshua is “the most caring, compassionate, and loyal friend that anybody could ask for.” The speeches were full of love and wisdom, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect, understanding, and selflessness in a marriage.
The reception was lively and joyous, with music by DJ Ken Lindsay from Big Event Entertainment filling the space. We captured all the key moments, from the couple's grand entrance to the first dance, parent dances, and everything in between.
The day was further elevated by stunning floral arrangements from Fleurish Barrie and delicious catering by Created Not Catered. It was a pleasure to work with such talented vendors, all of whom contributed to making the day unforgettable.
